E(lectronic)-Activity Records, founded by Marvin Balrak, who has been around since the beginning of the (Acid) House-explosion in 1988, and even way before, at the end of the 70’s and early 80’s involved in the Reggae/Punk/Ska/(New) Wave/Electro (electric boogie/break dance) scenes of Rotterdam.
Took music lessons as a kid (mid-70’s) at De Rotterdamse Muziek School.
Organ became the prior instrument, started with a Cosmovox, loving playing accords and melodies, but also interested in the rhythm sections, it later evolved in purchasing synthesizers.
The label brings different styles of electronic music: Acid House, Electro, Ambient, Tekno, Dub Techno, Skacid, SkaTek
